Hi Ohio

It is difficult to say Hi to Ohio as it already has a Hi in its name... it seems from its name that the state must be friendly. All the US states have a certain taste to them.. Like a panera coffee. Michigan is sad, New York is mad.. New Jersey is confused.. Connecticut is Quiet.. Texas is asleep... Minnesota is cold... and so on. But Ohio.... it has to be friendly, it doesn’t seem to be a large state. I have to move to Ohio in few months and i have already browsed all the websites about Ohio. It took me less than an hour to finish them. When i can finish visiting the sites in one hour how soon can I visit the whole of Ohio ......probably really quick... it is not a math equation anyway. That’s what happen when you live on the east coast for long.
Well at our work place people like to chat about their last evenings happenings. And if your work desk is in the same room, and you happen to be in the room working, you have no choice but to let the conversation spill into your ears word by word and into your system. Some conversations are enjoyable and you happily gulp them down and may be become a part of, but others you rather not hear but you still have to chew and swallow and there are some that you really want to throw up on. Just like in a restaurant we have choice for food, we should have choice for these long and sometimes unwanted conversations to which one is a silent listener of. What do you want for appetizer i have a dog story, a parrot story or my ordeal with shoveling snow. The main course can be the fight with the husband or how i got the children ready today or how my toast burned. There should be some specials too. Like the traffic or may be the trip to the mall.
Then may be we should have a choice.. to order or not to order or just say.. no thank you no conversation for me as my ears are on a diet!! Overall life becomes so monotonous and predictable. Most of us enjoy it that way. We want it to be like that and so that we can cope with it better.
